For the Dumas family, a passion for electricity is truly a family tradition. Watching his father operate a business in the industry, Gilles Dumas developed a passion for electrical work at a young age. At just 16 years old, he joined Marcel Dumas Compagnie Limitée. Over the years, working alongside his father, Gilles expanded his expertise and deepened his knowledge of the trade.
In 1993, he took the leap into entrepreneurship and founded Gilles Dumas Maître Électricien & fils. Over the following two decades, he contributed to numerous development projects throughout Vaudreuil-Soulanges, playing a direct role in the region’s growth and development. Today, the company regularly collaborates with major real estate developers who choose to work with trusted industry leaders.
The Dumas family’s entrepreneurial story in the electrical industry continues with the next generation. Gilles’ son, Philippe Dumas, is preparing to carry on the family business. With the same passion, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility, the next generation proudly follows in the footsteps of their father and grandfather.
